Papers

Paper sessions are oral presentations of Long and Short Papers accepted for publication from the Call for Proposals. This year we received a large amount of scientific submissions (long papers, short papers, posters, demonstrations and workshops) from which we created a very exciting programme, reflecting the emerging trends from the community.

This year the papers, posters and demonstrations have gone through a modified review process. The modified process resides in including an intermediate layer of meta-reviews that would help for selecting the best submissions as well as for helping the authors to improve their papers based on complete reviews. We would to thank all the meta-reviewers as well as the reviewers for their tremendous work during this process.

The NIME 2014 scientific programme in statistics is:

  • 27 meta-reviewers and 251 reviewers;
  • We received 112 submissions for long papers, accepting 31, for an acceptance rate of 27.7%;
  • We received 113 submissions for short papers, accepting 26, for an acceptance rate of 23.0%.

These papers comprise the 11 sessions outlined below in our schedule. The papers themselves are published in the Proceedings, online, and on USB with the conference registration pack.
