Preparing Your Camera-Ready Submission
Thank you for participating in NIME 2005, and congratulations on your acceptance! This page outlines some guidelines to assist you in preparing your camera-ready submission for inclusion into the conference program. Please read the following steps carefully.
Camera-ready versions of your submissions for the conference proceedings are due April 15, 2005.
- Revise your paper based on feedback from the review process. Your paper may need to be shortened to meet the page limits of the category (report, poster, etc..) in which it was accepted. Please note that this may be different from the category in which the paper was submitted. Page limits for the various submission categories are as follows:
- Please add the following copyright notice to the first page of your submission:
Permission to make digital or hard copies of all or part of this work for personal or classroom use is granted without fee provided that copies are not made or distributed for profit or commercial advantage and that copies bear this notice and the full citation on the first page. To copy otherwise, or republish, to post on servers or to redistribute to lists, requires prior specific permission and/or a fee.
NIME'05, May 26-28, 2005, Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Copyright remains with the author(s).
This copyright notice should be in 8 point, Times New Roman font. It should be placed on the bottom-left of the first page of your submission, with a bounding box 3.25" x 1.37" (8.3 cm x 3.5 cm), 8.75" from the top of the page and 0.8" from the left (22.2 cm from the top, 2 cm from the left). There should be at least 0.13" (0.3 cm) of space between the copyright notice and the text.
We have prepared updated Microsoft Word and LaTeX2e templates to assist you in preparing your camera ready submission, which can be downloaded here.
- If you haven't already, please remove the ACM "Categories & Subject Descriptors", "General Terms", and "ACM Classification" from your submission. These sections should not appear in your camera ready submission. However, please keep the "Keywords" section and choose a few words to help categorize your paper.
- Your camera-ready submission must be in PDF format. To submit:
- Camera-ready papers, posters, reports and demos should be submitted via the online submission system. Instructions are included in your acceptance notice email.
- Camera-ready performance write-ups should be submitted via email to Andrew Schloss.
- Camera-ready installation abstracts should be submitted via the online submission system. Instructions are included in your acceptance notice email.
Please direct questions to Sergi Jorda (papers, posters, reports, demos), Andrew Schloss (performances) or the Installation Coordinators.
