Abstract
Inspired by the experience of orthodontic treatment, this piece explores the similarities between the alignment of teeth and the pursuit of environmental harmony. Utilizing a data-driven musical instrument, the performance captures the balance between nature and technology, echoing the stages of free growth, intervention, and equilibrium. As the performer's movements shape the soundscape and visual transformations, the audience contemplates the dynamic tension and potential harmony between the natural world and the mechanical systems we create. It reminds us of our responsibility to seek sustainable balance, promoting the coexistence and mutual prosperity of nature and innovation, paving the way towards a greener future.
